Nicole Leslie

Meet Nicole Leslie and her daughter Grace. Nicole has started a movement to bring affordable speech pathology to the Findlay area. Her motivation is her daughter Grace who was born with a Chromosome 18 deletion and struggles with speech and coordination. She is a sharp little girl and signed for us as we talked with her mother. Grace Speaks is the name of the non-profit organization and can be found here on FB. Nicole’s husband is a local doctor and she has 5 children. They are all learning sign language to help communicate with Grace. Nicole’s motto is simple, “Hope.” She lost her dad at the age of three and learned at a young age to live each day as if it were the last. Her mom is her role model as she raised three children as a young widow.
