Shannon Ebert

If Shannon Ebert is an example of our leaders of tomorrow we are in great hands.
She is a motivated young lady who excelled in high school and in her college career. She played basketball and volleyball in high school and received offers from local colleges. She accepted a full-ride volleyball scholarship to the University of Findlay. She transferred from high school to the career center to expedite her education with pre-college classes. She graduated with 62 credits from Bowling Green State University. This has allowed her to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing in 2 1/2 years. She is holding down 6 classes, a 3.8 gpa, and was selected to the GLIAC all academic team.
Shannon is also an “invaluable” intern at the Hancock County Economic Development Alliance where she does photography, tracks data, and works with strategic planning. She is a budding photographer and owner of her own graphic design company.
She has two older siblings and owns three dogs who live with her parents in Sandusky.
Her role model is Dr. Chris Ward, the Chair of Marketing at the University of Findlay. “I respect her endless experience, that she gave up a major corporate position to teach and mentor and is active in the community.”
Shannon has a favorite Bible verse, Psalms 37:5, “Commit your way to the Lord. Trust in Him and He will act.” When not studying she tries to grow in her faith though the Gateway Church.
She wants to travel and see the world and then come back. She “likes the unity in the community here in Findlay and that she can be part of something here.”
