This smiling face belongs to Rebecca Feczer, a native of Findlay. She has two brothers and a sister and her parents all live here in Findlay.
She graduated from Findlay High School and received both an academic and athletic scholarship in volleyball to Caldwell College in Caldwell, New Jersey. She spent two years there before transferring to Miami University in Ohio. It was there she earned a Bachelors degree in Biology. She is spending the summer working at Cooper Tire prior to her attending the University of Minnesota to earn her Master’s in Bio-mechanics and Neuro-muscular Function. She wants to help those with diseases such as Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis and Muscular Dystrophy.
In Miami Becca was a coach of high school and 14 year old recreation volleyball. It was here she met her mentor, her head coach Ruchelle Dunwoody, who was hardworking and always had the best attitude.
When not studying she likes to work out at the gym, play club volleyball and hang out with friends. She loves animals and has been able to house sit for people with dogs so they don’t worry while they are gone on vacations.
She has a long distance sweetheart right now as her boyfriend is in the Air National Guard and in stationed in Alaska for the summer.
Her motto is great. “Do everything as if it were for God.”
