Sandy Kozlevcar

We have been trying for a year to get this young lady’s story. Sandy Kozlevcar is a busy woman and even though she struggles with physical limitations these days she still is a force to be reckoned with.
Her legacy has been in the radio world where she spent over fifty years. She retired as the General Manager/Sales Manager of WFIN, WKXA and 106.3 The Fox. Prior to that she had been a news writer and sales associate at other stations in Lima and Columbus. She was one of very few women in the field and it forced her to be the very best in order to survive and thrive.
She has also been busy with volunteer activities such as being a Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, a Zonta Club member, volunteering at the Stonebridge church, and serving on Big Brothers Big Sisters Board to name a few. She has been the recipient of several awards for volunteering.
She has tried to keep active until Pulmonary Fibrosis slowed her down. She is a bowler to be reckoned with, loves water aerobic, Pilates and Yoga.
She has two daughters, two stepdaughters, 8 grandchildren and one great grandson who she loves dearly.
Sandy is very grateful to all her family and friends who assist her in her illness and keep her from feeling isolated.
“I shall pass through this life but once. Any good that I can do, or any kindness I can show, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect, for I shall never pass this way again.” is the quote that keeps her uplifted and driving her on.
