Becky Jenkins

Becky Jenkins is a unsung hero to three darling little girls. When her friend called from Florida and was hospitalized for a lengthy illness Becky drove through the night to pick up her friends daughters and bring them back to Findlay to care for them. The girls aged 2, 6 and 8 are well-cared for and feel right at home with Becky.

Becky is a hair stylist by trade. She learned her trade from the Ohio State Beauty Academy in Lima. She then moved to Findlay in 2004 and she loves the “nice town Findlay is.” She offers her services for free at the upcoming Back-to-school Bash cutting hair for students. The Bash also includes music, food and face painting for the children.

There is less free time now with the girls living with her but when there is free time Becky enjoys Zumba, vacationing to Florida and hanging with friends. She just went on her first cruise to Mexico and Florida Keys.
She has a pit-bull named Diamond and a kitty named Sapphire.

She looks up to Emily Stevers of Fire Relief Foundation who is one of her customers. “Emily is an awesome person and has helped with furniture for the girls.”

Becky advises “You have to find your own happiness.”
