Brian Treece

Dr. Brian Treece is as Findlay as you can get and he bleeds Oiler orange!

Born and raised here he graduated from Findlay High School in 1997. He took college prep classes in high school and jumped right into the college world. He received a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish at the University of Findlay. He continued on to get a Master’s in Education Administration. From there he began working with the Resident Assistants on campus and has never left. He did receive a PhD from North Central in Organizational Leadership. This led him to accept the position of Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Resident Life in 2011.

Everyday is different for him and he loves it. He works with students is all facets of their education and campus life. He believes student s are “following a dream to get here and we are here to help them on that path.” Dr. Treece likes to get students excited about traditions like spirit rock to bring them all together and to be excited to be Oilers.

He is involved in the community serving on the Cancer Services Board, President of the Arts Partnership board and on the board for Hancock Federal Credit Union. He also teaches at his church.

He has a very extended family and spends much of his free time with them. He has a dog named Joey. He likes to travel especially on cruises and his favorite so far is to the Caribbean.

He strives to “Make everyday a positive difference, no matter how small.”

His parents “taught me how to treat people, to be there for others.”

Dr. Treece calls Findlay “a great place to call home.”
