Stephanie Zbacnik
Stephanie Zbacnik is the manager of the 6th street Speedway and keeps her customers happy with hot coffee, caffeine and always with a great smile and welcoming comment. She knows many by name and likes the personal touch to keep her “regulars” coming back. We scoped in on her as we observed she is the perfect example of a manager as she is always working doing the same tasks as her employees , leading by example. She has been with Speedway for four years.
She moved to Findlay five years ago after graduating from Bluffton University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Her journey took a turn and she loves working here and plans to make a career out of it.
Her family and boyfriend live in Columbus so she travels there frequently. She has one sister and they are very close.
She is looking forward to an upcoming vacation to Mexico. When not working she likes to read and her favorite authors are Nicholas Sparks and James Patterson.
Her role model is her mom who raised her and her sister as a single parent. “I watched her care for us, working full-time. She instilled a work ethic in me and she was respectful of all people.” She also credits her district manager Holly Murphy as a role model for “always challenging me to do better.”
Her motto is to “Live fearlessly.” “Don’t allow fear keep you from experiencing all that life has for you.”
