Ellen Hoffman
Ellen Hoffman is a young woman with a sweet smile, an incredibly positive spirit, and an incurable disease.
She has Muscular Dystrophy and was born without hip sockets. They surgically made sockets for her and she is able to walk for now. Because of the type of MD her leg muscles are dying and one day she will no longer be able to walk. BUT that does not slow this University of Findlay senior down. She is in her final year of a Public Relations degree, is working a summer internship at Children’s Museum of Findlay and is looking forward to conquering the PR world with her skills and attitude. There is no sympathy required for this young lady.
She loves to read when not working and studying, everything she can get from John Green and Mitch Album. She also spends time playing with her dog Frodo and building a life with her boyfriend Sam, (who treats her like a princess)
Her role model is her older sister who through hard work was able to start her independence young, build a family and who has always watched over and protected Ellen.
Ellen’s quote fits her to a tee, “Where ever you go- Go wholeheartedly.” Confucius
