Amy Jordan
Amy Jordan has been at Blanchard Valley Hospital for 30 plus years.
She started in the kitchen while she attended high school at Findlay High School and continued while she earned her degree at Bowling Green State University. She took her Graphic Design degree and is in the Public Relations/Marketing department where she oversees Web design for the hospital. She actually built the very first website for the facility.
Amy was even born in the same hospital she works in. She is married and has three children and one grandchild and one on the way.
When not keeping the hospital technically sound Amy loves fitness, especially running. She runs 3-4 5K races a year and has participated in a triathlon. She works out regularly at the YMCA. She also has a passion for animals, especially horses. She owns five and is training with the University of Findlay English Dressage group in English style riding. Her family also has goats, chickens, peacocks and two dogs
She is a breast cancer survivor and had “excellent support from her husband and family.”
She tries to “smile and laugh everyday. and doesn’t believe in sweating the small stuff.
Her father was a great role model for her. “He was dependable, always there and taught her if you start something, finish it and do it well.”
