Elizabeth Grant
Elizabeth Grant is the nurse to see if you are an acutely ill patient, whether an infant, geriatric, suffering from an illness or trauma.
She has been working in the Intensive care unit since she arrived at Blanchard Valley Hospital. She enjoys her work as it is very fast paced, it is different everyday and she feels challenged. This is her niche and she loves excelling at… something. She and other ICU nurses respond to every ER trauma, all codes and post surgery to assist patients.
Elizabeth is married to Scott who she met at the University of Findlay. They have been married for eight years and are the proud parents of one year old twin boys.
She changed school and majors earning her RN nursing degree for the University of Toledo. Recently she completed the requirements for her BSN from Ohio Northern. She was the recipient of the BVH Nurse of the Year award in 2012 after being nominated by her peers.
Elizabeth loves sports , especially football and her beloved packers. She is also a Buckeye fan. She loves being outside and doing crafts. She played softball, volleyball and swam in high school.
Her role model is her mother Sheila, who raised her and four siblings while working part-time. The strong work ethic her mother showed rubbed off on Elizabeth.
The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others, ” a quote by Ghandi, is Elizabeth’s favorite quote.
