Michelle Stratton
Michelle Stratton is an RN in the ER at Blanchard Valley Hospital. She received a scholarship to Rhodes through the hospital and began working for them after she graduated in 2008.
The ER keeps her busy and she loves it. It is fast paced, hands on for everything and she hates being bored. Michelle has a special designation, in addition to her normal duties, that unfortunately we need these days. She is the Sexual Assault coordinator being frontline for those suffer abuse or domestic violence and are seen in the ER. It was because of a person close to her that was such a victim that she has dedicated her life to this specialty. She also is involved in all facets of the ER seeing a variety of illnesses and injuries on any given day. She spent time in Hospice care and is on call if needed.
Michelle is the mother of two girls and one boy. She and her boyfriend Kent share four grandbabies who they adore and try to spend lots of time with. Michelle would love to live on a farm and raise chickens and do organic farming. She also loves playing the guitar and piano.
Her verse that gives her strength is Proverbs 28:1 “The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.” See More
