Jonah and Jenn Aldoy

When Jonah Aldoy ,a native Findlayite, was born he was healthy and vibrant. Shortly after birth he fell asleep and stopped breathing. When he was revived 25 minutes later, his brain had been damaged and his heart injured from resuscitation efforts. His and his family’s journey in life began.
He is surrounded by a loving family: Mom (Jenn, shown with him), dad (John) and an older sister (Audrey) . They have a boxer named Tank who is the family protector.
While the family could be bitter or seeking pity they instead exude love, confidence, hope and a sense of reality. Jenn’s favorite saying is “It is what it is.” “Don’t focus on the bad stuff.”
Jonah attends Blanchard Valley where he is in the kindergarten class. While he is limited in sight he has an infectious smile when he turns toward one’s voice.
The family love Findlay, “For its small town feel with big city opportunities.”
The role model for the family is Jonah’s maternal grandfather who “worked hard, gave smart advice and helped in the big decisions in life.”
