Kevin Richardson is the first face people see and the man behind the scenes keeping the Family Center running. He oversees a building with 12 agencies, 100 employees, 200 volunteers and well over 40,000 visitors every year.
He took the position after retiring as the Road Superintendent of Hancock county where he served for 31 years. During his tenure he worked his way up to the top office and was responsible for 572 miles of roads and replacing/repairing 200 plus bridges.
Kevin graduated from Riverdale high school and attended Findlay College. When not at the Family Center he is the Home Association President of the BPOE, a Master Mason and very active at the Parkview Christian Church. He has served the youth as a little league coach and a boy scout leader.
He has been married for 21 years and has four sons. They have given him 5 grandchildren. He also has two dogs named Cinder and Buddy.
He lives the motto, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
His role models are his father Dewaine Richardson and the late Gary Kissler who were examples of “a hard work ethic and they were always helping others.”
He describes Findlay. “I can’t think of anyplace I’d rather be. It is a great community and a great place to raise a family.”
