Amber Holbrook

Amber Holbrook (shown here with daughter Cailyn)is a Ninja Warrior on a mission to share her daughter’s story. Amber just competed on America’s Ninja Warrior show which will air on June 22 and it allowed her to share her daughter’s story about her battle with severe autism. She was one of 106 contestants picked from 50000 applicants and believes she is driven and inspired by her daughters fighting spirit. “If my daughter can fight so can I”. In a outfit with the symbol for Autism on the front and the slogan “Cailyn Can” emblazoned on the back, Amber is determined to bring her daughter’s and others with autism stories to light.
Cailyn was diagnosed with severe autism at 18 months and it was obvious as there was no personal interaction, facial recognition, playing, nothing your average child would be exhibiting. With help from an ABA program and one on one tutoring with parents and others Cailyn has come far. She walks, is saying single words, like “daddy”. She spoke the word “Mommy” five months ago to the joy of her mother. Cailyn is a very sweet young lady who just finished special education kindergarten at her elementary school.
Amber and her husband Craig are very appreciative of the special feeling and help from their school with teachers and aides there for their daughter.
Amber and Craig have been married for eight years and he works at Marathon. They have a four year old son named Dalton who is very loving and protective of his big sister. Amber is a licensed Physical Trainer and also works out at XT Fitness here in Findlay. She is also a singer and was a worship leader at her church.
Amber’s verse of inspiration is “I can do all things through Christ.” See More
