Bridgette Mundy
If any of your loved ones need residency at Birchaven, whether long-term or short-term be glad that Bridgette Mundy is at the helm. She is the administrator, overseeing 229 assisted living units, 136 nursing beds, nurses 24/7, STNA’s, 5 top-notch chefs and social workers. She also manages Independence House in Fostoria. She has a deep love for the residents who bring so much history and life to Birchaven. Bridgette has come to know most of the long term residents.
Bridgette has little time left for herself but loves to garden and spending time with her extended family. She sits on a number of boards and is a coach for a club soccer team in Arcadia.
Bridgette has been married to Jason for 17 years and they have known each other since kindergarten. They are the parents of two girls and a boy, ages 13, 10 and 2. The family lives on a hobby farm with donkeys, hogs, chickens, goats, dogs and cats. The two daughters are in 4H and show the animals in competition.
Her family members have been positive influences on her as they are “strong, hard working, good people.”
She keeps the following quote by Ghandi on her wall to inspire her. “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
