Tony Bommarito

Even police officers have times where they need a listening ear or assistance in an emotional situation. When they do they turn to Police Chaplain Tony Bommarito.
For the past 8 years Tony has ridden along with officers, helped them at scenes where even police were emotionally affected and helped them when the need to tell a family someone is not coming home arises. He has been a minister since 1994 and is a member of the First Assembly of God pastoral team. Tony was recruited by Pastor McBeth to join the police chaplain corp. He has been involved with Youth of Christ working in the middle schools with kids at lunch, a style of Big Brothers/Sisters program.
When he is not being a chaplain he works at Lowe’s distribution center as a forklift operator . He also is a basketball official focusing on middle school and freshman level games. He loves this and has been blowing the whistle for 18 years.
Tony has been married for 21 years and has two boys. In his free time he enjoys compound bow hunting, golf and walleye fishing.
His father was a police officer in Michigan and taught him to be wise with his money, have a hard work ethic and to respect everyone.
